A workshop for teaching English grammar through innovative techniques was organized at Senior Study II, Amritsar on January 10, 2020. The resource person was Ms Meeta Mohanty, Co-founder,Funshiksha Classes.The workshop was attended by teachers of several schools of Amristar. The workshop focused on the pedagogical approach to teaching English grammar. The resource person explained a number of language related activities and discussed in detail problems one may face in teaching of English grammar. The teachers were asked to compose poems and to share activities. The English language activities evoked a lively and engaging atmosphere. Handouts and worksheets were reviewed to help teachers with classroom teaching. Everyone agreed the workshop was innovative and informative.
